Twentynine Magazine
by Lenovo Yoga

It’s a strange, eerie time to be alive.

We grew up with magazines like Seventeen telling us who we are, what to want, who to like. Twentynine Magazine (Lenovo’s literal target market’s age) explores what’s next. With AI, we can flip the script, go full God mode, and reimagine the images that once defined us.

With digital artists Maya Man and Beepy Bella, we fine-tuned an AI model on photos of them using the Lenovo Yoga to create Twentynine, an AI-generated zine about what it feels like to be 29 today.

Agency: Sounds Fun

Film

We created a Twentynine Magazine inspiration film with HYPEBEAST featuring the artists, explaining how they made the project with the Lenovo Yoga.

Magazine

Scroll through a few pages of Twentynine magazine, created with an open-sourced dataset built from Maya and Bella’s likeness. The headlines you see here come straight from the prompts we used to generate the images.

We leaned into the glitchy distortion that comes with AI image-making, embracing it as an art form and a sign of our chaotic times.

Gallery Opening

We launched the magazine with an IRL gallery where people could view the art and try the microsite firsthand on the Lenovo Yoga.

Microsite

We built a microsite that lets people generate new AI images of Maya Man (MM29) and Beepy Bella (BB29) with their digital models.

Editorial

Working with HYPEBEAST, we wrote an editorial showing how Lenovo’s latest Yoga devices enable artists to push boundaries and redefine what creativity can look like today.
